Wesser is a charity fundraising organisation working on behalf of St John Ambulance in the UK. Every year we provide hundreds of temporary and vacation jobs for young people all wanting to work for a good cause, earn well, gain experience and simply have an enjoyable time. We provide live-in accommodation for all of our fundraisers making this ideal work experience for students who are currently studying in the UK or for travellers and backpackers from abroad.

The Skills

You will speak excellent English and possess the ability to communicate with numerous types of people from varying walks of life.


You will be physically fit with a fantastic work ethos prepared to visit over 100 homes every day come rain, snow or shine.

You will be a confident individual with an abundance of energy and enthusiasm, guaranteed to win others hearts and minds.

You will possess the mental stamina to perform in this varied and challenging job role, remaining optimistic and resilient in the face of defeat.


This is a live-in position and you must be prepared to work away from home, joining one of our many teams in locations throughout the UK.

The Job Role

Working as a PROMOTIONAL FUNDRAISER , you will be required to join a team consisting of 5-8 people in one of our many campaign locations across the UK. Working door-to-door in residential areas only, talking to members of the public about the work of our charity partner, St. John Ambulance, and asking the homeowner if they would like to make an annual donation to the charity.
